| Description: | A ride that I devised last spring, that connects good rides in Green Valley, Stucki Spring and scenic ATV trail along Virgin River. Thanksgiving Day was busier than I thought The ATV crowd kept the noise cranking up at the Bloomington trailhead and families with kids flocked the Poppy trail. Green Valley was full of motorcyclists, ATVers and several shooters. Somehow I managed to survive the onslaught unharmed and headed towards Stucki Spring for some quieter time. Back down at Clavicle Hill turned right to the wash singletrack and then on series of dirt roads, now with only cows lurking by, rode to the "invisible" road that leads to Virgin River rim. There seemed to be seveal bike tracks in the grass, looks like some people have learned about it or read my webpage. Still, I'd get lost without a GPS. Then rode the river trail, up on series of dirt roads back to the Poppy preserve wash and on the other Poppy trail back to the noisy Bloomington trailhead. | |
