| Description: | Another morning ride to explore northern and eastern parts of Tampa. Ride along Hillsborough river was mostly alright, which can not be said about ride south on busy four lane highway. It had a shoulder, but, there were way too many semis zooming by to feel comfortable. A hooker walking along the shoulder of the busy highway was also an interesting experience. Same goes about the return across Palm River, although, there the shoulder was wider. Best part was bike path after the bridge to Ybor City, and the City itself. At the bike path, I also met the only biker I saw this day. This concluded my riding in Tampa, which overall was pretty horrific. I am glad I am not living in a town like this. Still, bringing the bike here was a good idea. I created quite some comotion, both at the conference floor, and at the restaurants, etc., that I visited when riding around the town. | |
