Name:Three Peaks trail network
Description:Three Peaks is the prime Cedar City trail system. There are several main loops and several spurs. It seems to still be under development, there's a new big mountain bike trailhead, but the trails seem to not get too much use.
I picked up the Utahmountainbiking.com map, parked at the picnic area, and then first rode the large 3 Peaks loop. My GPS ran out of batteries, so, I returned via Race Track trail to the car, picked up a fresh set, and then rode Big Hole, discovered a new trail which name I forgot, rode on that to turn up at the new mountain bike trailhead. This trail was pretty raw with some fun sections on the granite slickrock. Then back on Big Hole, this time all the way to the actual big hole, then onto Cutoff trail, to 3 Peaks, then on a faint side trail back to 3 Peaks, and, around the actual Three Peaks back to Race Track and back to the car.
Overall, a good experience, the trails are not world class, but, pretty good oveall. Definitely worth a stop.
