| Description: | A Saturday advanced ride. We stretched it up a bit with a road ride. The road was pretty quick, about 11 miles in 45 min or so. The loop starts with lengthy dirt road section, first down then up to Ute Mountain Lookout. From here, rocky singletrack descent to Browne Lake. Follows further descent along Carter Creek, with numerous crossings. Then comes a loose and watery climb south up one of the drainages followed by about a mile of uphill on loose babyheads. Quite an endurance test. The main difficulties end by left turn and slow descent down rocky ATV trail turning to dirt road back to the cars. |
