Getting HTML files for Lesson 22

If you do not have a copy of HTML documents for up to this section, More for Images and Lists, follow these instructions to download a working copy. The instructions will vary depending on which web browser you are using.

If there is a Source option under a View menu:
NCSA Mosaic, Netscape, Internet Explorer...

NOTE: You may have to instruct your browser which application to use to view the HTML source. Look for an option under Preferences and select any text editor application.

  1. Select the link below to see to the sample page
  2. Select View Source or Document Source
  3. Save the file on your hard drive

If there is an option to save as "HTML" or "Source" (in the dialog box after selecting Save As... from the File menu.
NCSA Mosaic, Netscape, Internet Explorer...

  1. Select the link below to see to the sample page
  2. Select Save As... from the File menu
  3. Select the option to save as HTML
  4. Save the file on your hard drive

If there is a "secret" popup menu (click and hold the mouse for Macintosh; click and hold the right mouse button for Windows and Unix)
NCSA Mosaic, Netscape, Internet Explorer...

  1. Click and hold the mouse to bring up the "secret" menu
  2. Select "Save this Link as..."
  3. When prompted, enter a name for the file.
  4. Save the file.
