Professional Interests

In 2015 I received an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree from Weber State University and entered the atmospheric science program at the University of Utah. While attending the University of Utah I have been honored to receive multiple scholarships from the college of Mines and Earth Sciences. I expect to receive an atmospheric science degree in spring 2018.

Currently I am interested in the study of ozone concentrations in the Western United States and how they relate to topics such as wildfires and/or oil and gas development. Weather forecasting is another area of interest with a focus on fire weather. I also enjoy attending regular student lead weather discussions and my active role as an officer in the American Meteorological Society (Student Chapter).
