About Me

I was born in Colorado and spent part of my childhood in Moab, UT, before moving north to the Kaysville area (between Ogden & Salt Lake City). I am also an employee at Snowbasin ski resort, and love anything adventurous or involving the outdoors; two of my favorite activities are skiing and, more recently, rock climbing.

Professional Interests

Emma Calder is currently vice president of the University of Utah's American Meteorological Society (AMS) student chapter, and a forecaster for the Ute weather center. She is interested in studying cloud microphysics and climatology with the HARP group.
