| Name: | Slickrock bike trail - Moab |
|
| Details: | The trail that gave Moab its fame. Still, it's fun to do and became a tradition on my every Moab visit. Camping at Sand Flats is the best in town, and within short ride to the trail. I usually do it on an afternoon of the night when I camp at Salt Flats. This time, I started and the campsite, rode to the trailhead, and rode the trail clockwise, several two little turnoffs to the Moab Valley viewpoint and to Icebox Canyon viewpoint. I returned on the Practice loop (which is not less difficult than the main spur) with another short ride to the Negro Bill Canyon viewpoint. | |
