| Description: | Bootleg Canyon is an excellent biking area southeast of Las Vegas, just off Boulder City. There are numerous downhill and cross-country trails that criss-cross part of River Mountains.
My plan was to ride Mother trail out and back and then see. Instead, I found that Mother trail has been extended to loop around the range and connect to Caldera trail. So, I did that, then up to a viewpoint above Lake Mead, down to the parking lot and up East Leg and down West Leg. That made good 3.5 hour ride, only 30 km, because the trails are quite twisty and slow. |
