| Description: | Fruita's main epic attraction, which we did on Sunday as a part of Fruita Fat Tire Festival. The ride starts at the end of 18 road, up and down on Frontside trail to road going up Coal Gulch. Up this road about 7 miles to Garfield Mesa, continuing on dirt road to the edge of Ross Ridge. Then down the dirt road to a well marked singletrack turnoff. Singletrack descends down to Lipan Wash, and then down the wash through famous waterfall portage. Once out of Lipan wash, it's a series of nice singletrack trails back to the parking area. |
