| Description: | A quick hike from Alta to some alpine views. Went up to Cardiff Pass en route to Mt. Superior, but, decided that we did not feel like going all the way there. Sidetracked on the side of the mountain east of the pass under mean looking cliffs, then climbed up steep but smooth slope to the ridge and up to Flagstaff Mountain. Down we went east on the ridge and then dropped down on a steep but decent slope to Flagstaff Mine on from here on the mining track back to Alta. | |
