Page town loop

Name:	Page town loop
Description:	On a way from Flagstaff to Salt Lake, I stopped in Page to ride the Town Loop trail. The trail goes on the edge of the mesa on which Page is built. It is relatively flat and about 80% singletrack, the rest doubletrack or better to say a single track on former jeep trail. The trail is closed to motors, which is good too. The northern and eastern part are pretty nice, the southern and western go close to the neighborhoods and as such there are occasional route finding problems and more messed up trail surface. Beware of goatheads near the golf course on southwestern side, I got two flats there. I started at the McDonald's, which provides convenient parking, restrooms and food right at the one spot. Bottom line, pretty good ride to sandwich in during a drive, but, I would not make it a destination.
