| Description: | A relatively popular ride near Torrey. Ride to the Great Western Trailhead north of town, then on the trail for about 2.5 miles and turnoff towards Velvet Ridge. There is an optional side trip to a nice viewpoint. ATV trail then goes west, along (or on) the Velvet Ridge, and then further on till it descends to a trailhead on Hwy 24. Return back to Torrey on the highway. | |
