| Description: | An afternoon hike after hearty brunch was rather brutal at first, but once the food settled it was pleasant. Walk up dusty Alexander Basin trail in the forest was annoying due to the files. Once out of the forest and up the meadows it was better, though still rather hot. The climb to the saddle below Gobblers Knob was steeper than it looked but from there it was just a short hop to the peak. | |
