| Description: | Sykor is the highest hill in the neighborhood, to the west of Brtov, a bit over 700 m. It is not very steep, but covered with large areas of forest. A radio tower is located on the top. There are several paved access roads that lead through the mountain. I combined climb to the mountain with seeing some other parts of the area. First I rode from Brtov to Lomnice and then to Brumov and then right to a forest road that leads to Sykor. Then went on north and connected onto road that goes to Hodonin. This road was in pretty bad shape - it's at the very outskirts of Blansko district and obviously neglected. Then through Cernovice and Bedrichov, took a small road to Kozarov and from there to Rasov and home. | |
