| Description: | First loop of 2009 season - mainly because we have had rains for the most of May and July that made ride planning a bit more tricky. Because we have a late Saturday party, I ended up sleeping in and only set out for this ride at 4.30pm. This turned out not to be too bad, I had to climb to Big Mountain Pass in the heat, but, it was manageable. Then it started to cool down so the rest of the ride went fairly smoothly. The most amazing thing about this ride was the realization how green everything is this year. | |
