Kelso Dunes

Kelso dunes lie in Mojave Natl. Preserve south of small town Kelso. We hiked to the highest dune on a chilly afternoon. We did not hear any of the famous booming sounds since it rained the day before and the sand was pretty wet and not too fluffy.
