| Description: | Tuesday morning was fairly warm with some sun so we took the tandem out and rode north of Fountain Hills on the McDowell park road to Rio Verde and from that south through the Yavapai reservation. The road was about 4 miles of dirt going through a pecan orchard which was quite interesting. The nuts were just being picked so it was interesting to watch. Then we headed through the residential part of the reservation and got chased by three dogs - fortunately they gave up before nipping on us but we accellerated quite a bit as well. Then we went to the local bike shop to get a spoke for the rear wheel and back to the house | |
