Description:	A ride that we usually do in late May or early June got shifted due to cold spring and being out for a month. Started from home going up Emigration Cyn, which was the busiest I have ever seen it with cyclists. Their swarms at the summit blocked one lane of the road. To my surprise, the grass at Alexander Hollow was not all that high, perhaps 1 ft, so, my shins survived in good shape. The grass there is fairly sharp. The vegetation got a bit thicker doing down Moose Hollow to Jeremy Ranch. Here I refilled my water and went down East Canyon road. The trail around the start of Little Emigration was still muddy and rerouted through bushes so I had to walk it. First mile or so of the trail up had periodic washouts or creek running in the trail so it was fairly slow go. Things got better higher up but there were still numerous washouts and crossings. I was glad to make it to the final hill up which was smooth and nice to ride. It looks like this year it would not be a good idea to ride LEC up after the big Wasatch ride that we usually did. Being tired at the end of the ride and having to hike through water and bushes is not fun. The trail will need some major reroute around the washouts and beaver dams, hopefully it won't fall into disrepair like the GWT between Big Mountain and Parley's. Mormon trail was in a good shape, although the bushes around it are much more lush than usual and hug the trail a lot. I rode the trail all the way to Little Dell and then back on the road and home. The timing this year was slower than usual, due to both feeling a bit tired and the crappy trail in LEC.
