Mountain meteorology, thermally-driven flows, boundary-layer, snow and ice processes, glaciology, instrumentation.

Education:
B.S.  Geography, 1995   University of Nevada, Reno

Other Interests:
Ice climbing,  mountaineering,  photography, wine (particularly red blends and viognier),  electronic music (I worked in a recording studio for a while in San Francisco), pawn shops, maps and of course the Sierra Nevada!
