Welcome to Craig's tour of the Sierra Nevada!

This is a collection of photographs I have taken over the years!

Mount Morrison, the "Eiger" of the Sierra.

North Peak with its triple ice couloirs.

Conness Lakes Basin, with the back side of North Peak. This valley is located in the Hall Natural Area and is characterized by roche moutonnee landforms and paternoster lakes.

Mount Conness and the Conness Glacier. Half Dome (right) and Mt. Lyell(left) can be seen in the background.

The north face of Mount Mendel in the "Evolution Region" of the Sierra Nevada. Located just above the ice apron are two couloirs that split the north face. These are regarded as the Sierra's best ice climbs, Mendel Left(Ice Nine) and Mendel Right.

Classic Sierra fall...Mt. Humphrey with a dusting of October snow.
