Research Activities:

  • High Resolution Data Assimilation with the University of Oklahoma Advanced Regional Prediction System (ARPS) Data Assimilation System (ADAS)
  • Development of methods to improve local scale data assimilation over regions of complex terrain
  • Examination of terrain-flow interaction and evolution of mesoscale weather features in complex terrain
  • Realtime 3-dimensional and surface data assimilation over domains of varying size in the Western United States.

    Personal Interests:
    Backcountry skiing, rock climbing, hiking with my red heelers, weight training, reading, gardening and cooking.
