Philosophy and Objectives:
Meteorology 1020 is designed to introduce students of all backgrounds
to the science and controversy of significant environmental issues such as global warming, deforestation, and ozone depletion
There are no prerequisites. Major topics include:
Course Format: A blend of lectures and hands-on access to information on climate change via the Internet are used. The Internet Companion is a resource for viewpoints and scientific information on environmental issues. |
