Read the summary article by Jim Steenburgh on the 100 inch snowstorm available here.

1. Summarize the evolution of this "storm cycle". Was it one storm or two? What were the major stages of the storm.

2. Contrast the precipitation received at Alta vs. that received at the airport during each stage of the storm.

3. What similarities and differences exist between major snowstorms in the Wasatch versus those in the Cascades or San Juans?
