Deer Creek Reservoir. 1PM Note lack of wind-driven waves on surface
Fire at 1PM. Small smoke plumes on south facing slopes above Deer Creek Reservoir.
Torching of pine trees. 4PM.
Smoke plume 4PM Note wind-driven waves on lake. Winds had increased to 15 mph sustained upvalley (from the west) with gusts to over 20 mph.

Other notes.
- Smoke in vicinity of Utah Lake at 12:30 PM was very dense. Could not see Wasach Mountains from freeway. At 4:30 visibility from freeway to east was nearly normal as a result of valley winds + lake breeze + ...?
- Winds at Command Center at Soldier Hollow were light from the east (up slope). Lots of ash falling from fire to the southwest.
- Current conditions in vicinity of fire
- Weather station at Soldier Hollow working but no comms.
