Meteorology 3410: Assignment 4

Purpose:
To become familiar with Fortran program syntax, access to Mesonet data, and differences between Perl, C, and Fortran.
Assignemt
copy the template program /home/meteor/x/class/jhorel/met3410/read_meso.f to a subdirectory in your directory
become familiar with the program and output the data to a file specified onthe command line.
using the information provided in class, determine relative humidity from the temperature and dew point temperature. Follow the same logic as was used in the Perl and C programs.

Experiment with the program at other locations and handle any error conditions that might occur.
Use xmgr as described in class to plot the output from the program for a 24 h period. This will require modification to the program to handle multiple days of output.
send email that includes the program, text and graphical output files. Include in the email a brief (1 paragraph) discussion of the changes in weather conditions at one site during the day.
