We would like to begin using the Spot Forecast Service for the
Prescribed fires we conduct on the Fort Gordon Military Installation.
 We burn on average 18000 - 20000 acres per year from November to
June.  We have spoken to other Army installations that use the
service out of other NWS offices and they all said that the NWS
predictions are more dependable than those they get from the state
forestry commission.  If there is any additional information from us
