This project is assessing the survivability of sheltering within fire
engines during burn over conditions in heavy chaparrel.  There is an
on site RAWS labled CALFIRE Portable TR113 that has been in place for
the last 2 weeks.  Two burns of 2 acres each are scheduled.  The
first is scheduled for 9/13 Tuesday at approximately 1400 hours and
the second is scheduled for 9/15 Thursday at approximately 1200
hours.  The burn start times have been roughed in based on observed
slope wind spend, direction and strength.  Spot weather products for
these burns are requested on the following dates:
9/9 Friday @ 1200 hours
9/12 Monday @ 1200 hours
9/13 Tuesday @ 0800 hours
9/14 Wednesday @ 1200 hours
9/15 Tuesday @ 0800 hours

In addition I would like the spot weather forecast provide some
discussion of the relative stability of the air mass.  This is an in
season burn where the intension is to create head fire conditions
with flame lengths of 50 to 60 feet in chaparrel and this discussion
will assist in assessing potential spot fire distances.
