Please report forecast elements in 1-hour increments. We are submitting this request to assist in planning a prescribed burn scheduled for Monday morning. Its OK if you wait until 3pm to finalize and post the forecast. Our questions are asked with reference to the 11:17am Point and Click Forecast for 30.42N 88.7W, and the 4:20am Area Forecast Discussion. 1. Please include a Fog Potential Statement for Sunday night/Monday morning and Monday night/Tuesday morning in your remarks. 2. With the light-to-moderate winds forecasted for Monday, we are concerned that the Point and Click Forecast is not taking the seabreeze into account. Should we be prepared for higher gusts in the afternoon, and what range of wind directions should we expect 3. Point and Click Forecasts do not seem to be accounting for the drainage flow or land breeze that we have observed the past few nights when wind goes calm. Yesterdays Spot Forecast for CPT G-02-08-18 did correctly forecast variable wind directions for early Sunday morning. Should we expect this to continue tomorrow night 4. This mornings Area Forecast Discussion at 4:20am mentioned an upper level low and a mesoscale system that could affect our area on Monday. A similar occurrence caused some rain Friday night and caused some significant errors in the wind directions in the Spot Forecast issued Saturday morning. What effects will the upper level low have on our weather Monday, and are these effects reflected in the tabular portion of your forecast 5. A Hazardous Weather Outlook was issued at 11am this morning for our area. What are the chances of lightning and hail occurring at the prescribed burn location on Monday RAWS LOCATIONS: TS982: on-site portable RAWS SHCM6: 3 miles NE TS629: 14 miles NNW sheltered KPQL: 10 miles ENE ...WEATHER PARAMETERS REQUESTED...
