and 30.51N 88.8W, and the 4:19 Area Forecast Discussion.

Verification of yesterday mornings PointAndClick Forecast for KPQL
showed some significant errors, mainly with wind direction.  Errors
ranged from 45-90 degrees throughout the entire day.  Wind was
northerly instead of easterly during the morning hours westerly
instead of SE during the afternoon.  Wind speed was lower than
forecast until seabreeze kicked in.  Cloud cover was significantly
less than forecast.

1. Please include a Fog Potential
Statement for Monday night/Tuesday
morning in your remarks. Fog was reported for only one hour this
morning at KPQL.

2. Our main concern today is wind direction.  G-11-12-19 are all near
the south side of I-10, and a southerly wind will push smoke onto the
Interstate.  This mornings PointAndClick Forecast has wind shifting
to E and SE during the afternoon, while the Transport Wind stays
northerly.  Are you expecting the seabreeze to overwhelm the
northerly flow at the surface today

3. Wind became calm Sunday nightshould we expect this again Monday
night
