Preliminary planning for a prescribed fire on the Grand Bay Refuge
for 05/01/12.

The area is located about  mile south of Highway 90 and approximately
2 miles south of I-10. Area has multiple drainages all within 1.5
miles of the burn location.

If possible, need weather elements in one hour increments thru 0800
05/01 and two hour increments from 0800 thru 1600 hours.

Need your current thinking as to the following

1 Mondays am forecast called for higher winds on Tuesday afternoon as
compared to this afternoons pm forecast for Tuesday afternoon. The
Monday am forecasted wind speeds for Tuesday morning and afternoon
where right at the max allowable for this burn. Based on current data
and thinking, does this afternoons wind forecast for Tuesday still
represent the plausible speeds we can expect tomorrow
2 With the burn area so close to a major thoroughfare, we naturally
have concerns about overnight fog between Tuesday evening and
Wednesday morning. Accordingly, based on current thinking, what do
the fog chances appear to be for Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and,
if any, what coverage and density can be expected
