LOW PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS WILL MOVE EASTWARD TODAY WITH STRONG AND GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS DEVELOPING ACROSS THE MIDSOUTH ESPECIALLY THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER DELTA. A WARM FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA WITH MUCH WARMER TEMPERATURES. AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL DROP TO BETWEEN 30 AND 35 PERCENT ACROSS WEST TENNESSEE AND NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND TO BETWEEN 35 AND 40 PERCENT ACROSS MUCH OF EAST ARKANSAS AND THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER THIS AFTERNOON. LOW PRESSURE AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE MIDSOUTH TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING.
