About me!

Some things you would not find on my CV...!

I have always been curious about the weather and atmosphere. It was my childhood dream to one day be a meteorologist and today, I can say that I fulfilled that dream. I have a general interest in extreme weather and like any meteorologist, I appreciate a good thunderstorm. However, my palate has expanded with age and I now enjoy studying a wide variety weather phenomena such as wildfires, dust storms, and air quality. I enjoy chatting about weather and climate, which is probably why I also like to teach! I also have a general interest in programing and developing tools that allow me to readibly access lots of data and displaying that data in visually appealing ways.

Believe it or not, I do have other hobbies outside of meteorology! I am an avid soccer fan and religously follow European soccer. I also enjoy wathcing baseball, with my favorite team being the Mets. Lastly, I am a huge sci-fi geek who is obsessed with anything Star Wars. Finally, I like cycling and hiking when the weather is cooperating!
